Maria Blanco Artistic training: Dance: tango, folk dance, jazz , contemporany , ballet, rock & roll, hip hop, african and spanish dance. Acting: improvisation technics and acting in front of cameras. Other trainings : rowing, swiming,yoga,biking, pole dance and aerobatics. Languages: French (intermediate level) ,English (advanced level) and Spanish. Work experience: Besides her work as a dancer she has modeled and acted for international advertisements such us DJ Hero and Panasonic. She posed for well known photographers from National Gepgraphic, Balletin Dance ,Vogue and Caras. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Maria began dancing at the age of six, studying ballet and modern dance. Her professional career as an Argentine Tango dancer began in 2003. In Buenos Aires she worked as the main tango instructor and event organizer at exclusive hotels such as the Faena , Four Seasons, Alvear and Sofitel. She directed and choreographed shows in Argentina and Uruguay. An important part of her career has always been performing for TV advertisements such as Panasonic, Dj Hero and Coca Cola combining both her dancing and acting skills. Model for Vogue, National Geographic and Travel & Lesure photographers. She has been a member and performer of ' Leonardo Cuello dance company','Mora Godoy', 'Señor Tango', 'Homero Manzi', Cafe del los Angelitos' and 'Tango Porteño.' She has been juror for the Asian World Tango Championship in the city of Tokyo, Japan and the NYC Tango Championship. She has toured arond the USA, Italy, Spain, Greece, Israel, China, Japan, Russia, Turkey, Hawaii, Brazil,Uruguay and Indonesia performing and teaching Argentinean tango. She is based in NYC and performing as leading dance couple at Malbec and Tango House.
