Madalyn Klein
The passion, beauty and sensuality of the Tango enchanted Madalyn, when Tango Argentino ignited New York twenty years ago. As an avid social dancer, performer and teacher, she is especially interested in the role dance has played in Western Culture and history and participates in many “Vintage Dance” events both here and abroad. She specializes in teaching couples to dance for their weddings. She began her dance and music life exploring English and American Country Dance, Swing, Country Western, Ballroom and Latin. Some notable performances include dancing with the National Dance Institute under the direction of Jacques d’Amboise, the Arcady Festival in Maine and at the Waldorf Astoria’s Gala Viennese Opera Ball. She studied with many of the great Tango Dancers who came to New York and had the honor to perform with Luciano from Tango Argentino, Tango x 2, Los Maestros del Tango and Los Pampas at the Thalia Spanish Theatre. She now has the privilege to dance and perform with Nelson. She believes that while Argentine Tango is spectacular to see as performance, it is truly a social dance to learn and love.
